We are delighted to announce that the Colours Boat Races will return to the centre of Dublin city in 2022.
The 72nd event between Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin will take place on Friday March 18th. The races will be raced upstream on the lower Liffey, from O’Connell Bridge to Victoria Quay (alongside the Guinness Brewery).
Crews will race for the four Colours trophies
- The Sally Moorhead Trophy (Women’s Novice VIIIs)
- The Dan Quinn Shield (Men’s Novice VIIIs)
- The Corcoran Cup (Women’s Senior VIIIs), and
- The Gannon Cup (Men’s Senior VIIIs)
