The results of the 2024 Colours Boat Races, raced on the lower Liffey from O’Connel Bridge to St. James Gate, on Saturday, March 30th:
Sally Moorhead Cup – Women’s Novice 8+ – UCD beat Trinity.
Dan Quinn Shield – Men’s Novice 8+ – Trinity beat UCD.
Corcoran Cup – Women’s Senior 8+ – UCD beat Trinity.
Gannon Cup – Men’s Senior 8+ – UCD beat Trinity.
On the previous evening, March 29th, races for the reserve crews took place above the weir at Islandbridge. Races were held for Men’s and Women’s reserve Senior 4+s, Mixed reserve Senior 8+, Women’s Novice reserve 8+ and Men’s Novice reserve 4x+ (Men’s Novice reserve 4x+ was raced between Trinity and Neptune RC as UCD were unable to field a Novice reserve 4x+). The results were:
Women’s Novice reserve 8+ – UCD beat Trinity
Men’s Senior reserve 4+ – Trinity beat UCD
Women’s Senior reserve 4+ – UCD beat Trinity
Men’s Novice reserve 4x+ – Neptune RC beat Trinity
Mixed reserve 8+ – UCD beat Trinity
